Akash holds a Master’s degree in Food Design and Innovation from Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milan, Italy and completed his Bachelor’s Degree from Marg Institute of Design and Architecture Swarnabhoomi, Chennai. He has also worked as an Intern at the KATJA GRUIJTERS Food design Studio in Arnhem, Netherlands in 2019.
He works with The Center for Genomic Gastronomy as a Researcher and Designer, an artist-led think tank that examines the biotechnologies and biodiversity of human food systems. Akash aims to explore Food, Architecture, and its cultural background as a creative process and come up with innovative solutions for future scenarios. He has attended various workshops, worked with International Food Designers and travelled across Europe.
