On December 20^th, 2017, CAAD- Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design hosted their 30^th lecture titled “Architecture Education and Practice in Bangkok” by Prof. Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan, Vice-President of Sripatum University, Bangok & Prof. Dr. Wasinghon Chanon, Head of Department of Interior Design, Bangkok.

The speakers discussed the university culture and specifically, the facilities and design studio methods being followed in Bangkok, illustrating the discussion with examples of student projects at every academic level. The speakers toured the CAAD campus with CAAD Chairman Prof. Dr. V R Rajendran, CAAD Director Prof. Vinodh Vijayakumar and Strategic Advisor Dr. Anup Gogna. They were highly impressed with the CAAD infrastructure and design studio output, and commended the efforts of the management, faculty and students.
