Outdoor Sketching Trip to DakshinaChitra

Extra Curricular Activities

Students visited Dakshina Chitra to develop their live sketching skills perspective drawing as a part of the Art Studio programme. Students also took a walking tour in the premise along with the faculty to get acquainted to the construction methodologies and the building materials of the different vernacular architectural styles in the region.

Yoga expert, Senior resident teacher at the Tiruvannamalai Ashram of the Foundation for Self Knowledge Brahmachari Viswa Chaitanya deliverd the lecture on the topic “Time Management” to the staff and student fraternity at CAAD.The speaker introduced effective tools of time management to the students and staff of CAAD.

Prof. Rajagopalan claried the definition of Architecture, the roles and responsibilities of an architect, the scope of the course and commended Chennai Academy for its initiative to provide quality education and excellent facilities for the students.

Celebration at CAAD

The event was ceremoniously embarked by the Chairman Smt. V. R. Roopa Rajendran through the lighting of the lamps as a sign of spreading of knowledge in all directions. The gathering was addressed in Rajamannariah Seminar Hall at the Institution with an introduction about the CAAD by the Director - CAAD and felicitation by the guests.
