CAAD – Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design conducted a 10 days international studio program in collaboration with SPU – Sripatum University, Bangkok, Thailand for their students. Global exposure to architecture education and practice are integral part of the teaching pedagogy at CAAD and devised to emplace the students with a competitive edge in their career. The aim of the international studio was to enhance design perspective across culture, city and design development circumstances. ROGUE ORGANISM – the project evolved around the development of architectural structure and form that is resilient to the variation of terrain, spatial constraints and form that can transform itself staggeringly, to the context of the streets of old Bangkok. As a part of the learning experience there were lectures by prominent architects from MSPACE and GEODESICS DESIGNS to the students. The program concluded with felicitation and award ceremony.
