The 61st of the CAAD lecture series L23061, titled ‘Tamizh Futurism’ was presented by Mr. Adhavan Sundaramurthy, a passionate and true Tamizhan at heart, who has taken the Tamizh language and culture to groundbreaking dimensions through his fascinating work on multiple creative fronts. Currently a designer at the Brooklyn based Bureau V architecture, New York USA, his exploration and experimentation has demonstrated how a language can transcend itself as a philosophy, a way of life and can influence design innovations of an unparalleled nature. An eye-opener, his work instils pride and awe and is a true inspiration for students and teachers alike.
