Back to the new norm, the second year students of CAAD shifted their design studio to Sorakapettai village this week as part of Rural Studio 2021.Students did a reconnaissance study of the village along with their studio mentors, Prof. Anitha, Prof. Hariharan, Prof.Ganesh & Prof Monika, to acquire knowledge of the context and built form for their academic documentation. CAAD endeavours opportunities for the students on enriching experiential learning from direct experiences outside a traditional academic setting to make them aware of the values, role and responsibilities of regional social traditions and integrated community living.
