On March 30, 2018, CAAD- Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design hosted their 33rd CAAD Lecture titled “Smart Cities” by Prof. Debashis Sanyal, who is an Associate Professor with National Institute of Technology, Raipur. The speaker discussed the the mega-cities of India with the students and outlined the scope, needs and challenges involved in creating smart cities catering to growing India’s future urban infrastructural requirements.
