The commencement function for the Odd Semester classes at CAAD was organized on the 11th July 2016 after an intensive design workshop which happened the earlier week. The event was held in the Air Conditioned Seminar hall of CAAD.
The function was held in the august presence of the Chairman, Smt. Roopa Rajendran and Prof. Dr. V. R. Rajendran and the event commenced ceremoniously with Pooja and lighting of Dheepam by all the faculty members of CAAD along with the chairperson.
Prof. Vinodh Vijayakumar, Director, CAAD formally welcomed the dignitaries and the members of the CAAD fraternity.
Shri. Venkatachalam, Inspector of Police, Periyapalayam was the guest of honour for the event. Architect Shri. Prasana Kesavan honoured the event by accepting to be the chief guest and motivated the students to become the forerunners in the profession.
Engineer Shri. Gurunath and Shri. Vijayendran were the other dignitaries in the dais. The commencement function was followed by lunch and subject sessions in the respective classes.
A permanent exhibition space for the students works of CAAD was inaugurated by Architect Prasana Kesavan and the day ended with high tea.
