One of the ways the students gain great knowledge and understanding of their subject is when they have on-site research. On the 8th of March 2022, a field visit trip to CERA Sanitary ware Ltd was ventured by the 2nd year CAAD students, to be a part of Women’s day at CERA.

The students gained a clear view of the product line of bathroom fittings and its space requirements and design considerations. This visit elucidated space-user interaction, sanitary ware, and its space allocation. The Anthropometry was tested and validated and the Ergonomics of the sanitary ware’s physical dimensions.

A coherent impression of the sanitary ware fittings on the aspects of sustainability and green rating was provided by the Stalwart designers. They added their valuable inputs on sanitary ware that have easy maintenance and water-saving features. Our students are confident enough to integrate the Barrier friendly design elements for a socially inclusive design into the toilets.
