The annual graduation ceremony of Batch 2021 that was conducted at CAAD – Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design campus, Chennai, on the 12th of September 2022 was a milestone celebration of achievements, accolades and nostalgic memories. The students were excited to be back in campus for the much awaited culmination of their five year journey at CAAD.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial procession in which the dignitaries Chairman Dr.V.R.Rajendran, Treasurer Mrs. Roopa Rajendran, Director Vinodh Vijayakumar, Principal MC Ramesh Kumar, Chief Guest Ar. Murali Murugan, Guest of Honor Ar. Prasanna Kesavan and the CAAD faculty donned graduation robes and proceeded to the Dias. The convocation song was followed by the welcome address by Director Vinodh Vijayakumar, after which the chairman Dr.V.R.Rajendran declared the graduation day open. The dignitaries and parents lit the traditional lamp after which the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor addressed the young architects and beaming parents, congratulating their achievements and wishing them a great future ahead.

The chief guest Ar. Murali Murugan presented the B.Arch degree certificates and mementos to the students. Ten students of Batch 2021 who made CAAD extremely proud by securing Anna University Ranks among all the affiliated colleges are Monica M( 7th rank), Sruthi B (8th rank), Dhivya Meena .S.M (overall 9th rank), Jawilsa J(10th rank), Kirthi M (12th rank), Rimmisha S Kumar (16th rank), Abhinaya R ( 17th rank), Sharmila S (24th rank), Nanthini V(29th rank) and Varshini D(29th rank). The jubilant students and their proud parents mingled with the faculty and mentors reliving unforgettable moments of their earlier days at CAAD. Photo sessions, selfies and videos recorded the ecstatic smiles and cheerful moments throughout the day.
