On April 1, 2017, as part of CAAD Lecture Series L16024, Ar. Lavanyaa addressed the students of CAAD about the evolution of traditional performing art centers and theatres, as dictated by the ancient texts of India. She elaborated on the various classifications of theatre spaces, the ancient directives governing their design and the versatility and requirements of performing arts as a building function, through her detailed understanding of performance spaces and her nuances as a Bharatanatyam dancer

In this line of events, a one day training programme was conducted on ‘Personality Development’ by renowned Psychologist Shri. Muthiah Ramanathan on 14th March 2015. The traning exposed the students to proven scientific techniques of excelling in given taks.
