4 Days Workshop on Google Sketch Up

Academic year of 2015-16 of CAAD commenced with a five day workshop on learning digital software that will be used in the architectural design process. Third semester students of Batch 2014 were exposed to various tools of the SKETCH UP software and were trained to work on the software with individual practical sessions initially. Later they were given a small exercise that focused on the application of the software tool in the architectural design process.

The workshop gave the students a better understanding of software and students were able to use the sketch up tools in the design process. Students were also trained on the knowledge of sketch up as an effective presentation tool to explain their design concepts. The software training workshop was conducted in association with expert persons from the field.
