On the occasion of Teacher’s day, Independence Day and Madras Day, a series of themed events were organized at CAAD. Students took part in elocution and poster-making competition based on the themes and presented their views about teacher-student dynamics in a debate.
The event started with the prayers in the temple at the college premise and welcoming the parents withrefreshments and gifts. The college premise and the Air-Conditioned student vehicles were inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri. T. D. Eswaramoorthy, and the Guest of Honour Shri.Prasana Kesavan from our advisory board.
The messages for the event from our esteemed Board of Advisors stationed aborad, Dr. Kammal K. Pawa, Dr. Wayne F. James and Prof. Dr. Anup K. Gogna printed out as posters and displayed at different spots in the college premise and were received well by all the guests.
The event was ceremoniously embarked by the Chairman Smt. V. R. Roopa Rajendran through the lighting of the lamps as a sign of spreading of knowledge in all directions. The gathering was addressed in Rajamannariah Seminar Hall at the Institution with an introduction about the CAAD by the Director – CAAD and felicitation by the guests. The morning session concluded with a very inspiring and invigorating speech by the special invitee for the event, Honorable Dr. V. R. Rajendran, Vice Chancellor, Vinayaka Missions University.
Dr.V. R. Ritish Rajendran, Trustee of CAAD, Mr.Venkatesan – Chief Administrative officer of CAAD andMr.Vijayandean – Chief Finance of CAAD extended their support and graced the function with their presence.
The parents and students gathered in the hall after a grand lunch for the Orientation Lecture which was handled by the Director and the faculty team. The members in the faculty team were formally introduced and the Affiliating University norms and the ground rules of CAAD were clarified to the students and parents.
The event was well covered in the media.The overall ambiance was grand and ceremonious and the event is a huge success.
